- LAVOISIER DISCUSSIONS -

The "Lavoisier discussions" (LD) are specialized foresight seminars and round table discussions on an emerging theme covered by the research network GDR HOWDI / GDR-I
Within the frame of AI4AM event, the LD will be focused on – AI for 2D Materials Production, Characterization & Design – As evidenced by the 2024 Nobel Laureates in Physics and Chemistry, AI for materials design has become the focus of a lot of attention and the whole research community working on 2D Materials, a community which is currently recurring more and more to AI-type of tools for materials production, characterization and theoretical design, so a LD on these topics was urgent. During the LD, short talks by researchers actively involved in this topic will be complemented by round tables to discuss opportunities and challenges for the community.
